1. Buho Ramirez Cave
Located in its capital, Jordan, the Buho Ramirez Cave is perfect if you are looking for a mini underground river trip experience. The cave has two entrances with not-so-deep water. Also called as Baras Cave, tourists can actually walk on its rock formations depending on the tide. To get the full experience of this enchanting cave, make sure to visit when the tide is low.
2. Guisi Point Lighthouse and Guisi Beach
This 18th century historical site gives you the aesthetics of the past. Located in Guisi, Nueva Valencia, it was originally built to guide those passing by the Iloilo and Guimaras Strait. The Philippines’ second oldest lighthouse, it gives you an exhilarating view of the island. The ruins are also surrounded by beautiful rock formations. You can get the best view of the island once you climb up the staircase. A short hike down from the lighthouse will lead you to Guisi beach. Crystal clear water and more stunning rock formations will greet you once you get to the bottom.
3. San Lorenzo Windmills
Ilocos Norte is not the only place you can visit if you want to see wind mills. The San Lorenzo Wind Farm is actually the first wind farm in Visayas. This location is perfect if you are looking for an Instagram-worthy site. Since the place lies on a hill, it gives you a pretty good view of the beach.
4. Turtle Island
Located in Lawi, Jordan, Turtle Island is the perfect summer getaway if you’re looking for a small, scenic beach. Just like what the name suggests, this island used to be a sanctuary for sea turtles. The island is not too far from the Buho Ramirez Cave. Aside from enjoying its white sand beach, you can also try snorkeling and enjoy underwater sceneries.
