Working away from the office has become the new normal. And as the number of work-from-home peeps and digital nomads only seem to grow, Baybayin Hub, a “CoLiving and CoWorking shared space for online professionals, has introduced to remote workers an offer they can’t resist: working by the beach.
Aiming to “reinvent how people live, work, play, and explore in the Philippines”, Baybayin Hub offers several coworking spaces cum hostels in Siquijor, Bolinao in Pangasinan, and Liwliwa in Zambales – all of which are built into in existing resorts. Each beachside location is equipped with 10-20 mbps WiFi access, a functional work desk for each person, and a common kitchen for cooking and storing food.
Members of Baybayin Hub also get full access to all facilities that the resort offers.
To enjoy these amenities and Baybayin Hub’s coworking features, one would need to apply for membership. This can cost anywhere from P25,000 for a 15-day stay in the resort with private accommodation to P45,000 for a whole month’s stay. The team will hold a Zoom meeting or a Live session to test internet connectivity and speed with interested parties.
Currently, the group has been exploring the possibility of opening other hubs in Pagudpud, Cebu, Bohol, and Dumaguete.
